The legend of the mountain range named Langbiang
According to legend, once upon a time, at the foot of the mountain, two different groups of people lived. There is a daughter named H’Biang (Chil), and a guy named K’Lang (Lat). After going to pick fruit once, Biang was attacked by wild animals and fortunately K’Lang helped them from which they fell in love.
But because the family and villagers forbade, the two people left together to live in the mountains. Some time later, Biang became seriously ill, the young man was forced to return to the village for help but was attacked again. During the chaos, Biang sacrificed to save him an arrow. Lang’s grief was that he cried without tears, the stream turned into “Da Nhim” stream, and then Lang also committed suicide with her.
In memory of Lang and Biang, the patriarch built two statues on the mountain. Since then, this mountain has been named Langbiang.
